Ques Security was created around a simple belief: security should be proactive, not just reactive.

Our role is not simply to respond after something happens. We work to identify risks, maintain a visible and professional presence, deter unwanted activity, document incidents, communicate concerns, and help create safer environments before problems escalate.

Every property, business, event, and client has different security needs. That is why Ques Security focuses on providing solutions tailored to the environment rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Marques Griffin built Quessecurity from firsthand experience in the private security industry. After spending years working posts for other companies, he saw where the industry could do better — stronger leadership, better-trained officers, clearer communication, and greater accountability to the clients and communities being protected.

Rather than continue working toward someone else’s bottom line, Marques decided to build a company around a higher standard.

The company is built around three principles: presence, documentation, and accountability. Officers are expected to remain visible and attentive, document what happens on their posts, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for the properties, people, and environments entrusted to them.

Marques remains directly involved in operations. He personally walks sites, evaluates security needs, briefs officers before their first shifts, and stays accessible when problems arise — even when the phone rings at 3 a.m. That hands-on leadership helps ensure the standards promised to a client are the same standards delivered in the field.

As Quessecurity grows, that foundation remains unchanged. The goal is not simply to put an officer at a post. It is to build lasting relationships with clients, develop dependable security professionals, and provide protection backed by leadership that takes responsibility for the outcome.
